Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a certified teacher with five years of experience teaching high school English and a Master of Education in Integrated Curriculum. My graduate work focused on closing achievement gaps and designing effective instruction that helps all students succeed.

In the classroom, I worked with students across a wide range of skill levels and learning needs. In addition to traditional English courses, I taught a semester-long SAT preparation course where students learned essential skills to help them feel confident before the test. I’ve also provided one-on-one tutoring, which let me tailor instruction to each student.

I currently work remotely as an instructional designer. My role involves developing engaging learning experiences, keeping up to date with the latest teaching strategies, and exploring new learning technologies. At heart, I remain a teacher and an enthusiastic learner. I have a genuine passion for learning, discussing books and writing, and helping students achieve those rewarding "Ohhh, I get it now!" moments.

Through InkWell Tutoring, my goal is to help students strengthen their skills, discover what works for them, and, most importantly, grow their confidence as learners.
